Avocado Strawberry Layered Smoothie #Avocado #Strawberry #Layered #Smoothie Healthy Recipes Easy, Healthy Recipes Dinner, Healthy Recipes Best, Healthy Recipes On A Budget, This Avocado Strawberry Layered Smoothie is healthy, filling, slightly sweet, and of course, beautiful!I love sipping smoothies any time of year because they’re easy to make, they taste amazing, and they’re also good for you! This avocado strawberry layered smoothie is my new favorite, with its unique twist on a traditional idea.

The layers in this smoothie keep each sip interesting, and of course, they’re absolutely beautiful! What’s more, it’s also packed with antioxidants from the berries and healthy fats from the avocado, making it a tasty and wholesome snack with just the right amount of sweetness.

I’ve never used avocado in a smoothie before, but I have to say, I love the creaminess it adds to the drink. Plus, all those healthy fats are enough to keep me full until my next meal. If you’ve never used avocados in smoothies before, don’t worry, it won’t taste like guacamole!

The different flavors of each layer compliment each other, especially as they start to melt together. The strawberry portion is tangy and sweet, consisting of frozen strawberries, a frozen banana, water, honey, and lemon juice. The avocado mixture is smooth, mellow, and refreshing, combining avocado, almond milk, lemon juice, honey, vanilla extract, and ice.

The secret to creating the look of colorful, clean layers is to freeze between pours. After filling your glass halfway with the strawberry mix, pop it into the freezer for a few minutes, and it’ll be just firm enough to hold the avocado layer on top. With a supportive base, the two flavors should remain separate.

Another layering tip is to make sure that each of mix is pretty thick, which is why I use frozen fruit in this recipe. Of course, if you’re short on time, you can always blend all the ingredients together for a smoothie that still tastes delicious… but I just love how pretty the layers look!
